WHAT ARE YOUR SERVICES LIKE?
Attire: Relaxed, Casual, and Comfortable
Come as you are. Many who attend dress casually, in jeans and their favorite shirt while others sport a suit and tie or their Sunday dress. What matters most is that you are you, and that you're comfortable.
Music: Contemporary, Creative, and Liturgical
The music is led by live band, as well as various ensembles such as a choir, and at times incorporates more traditional instruments. The services are also liturgical in that they follow a historic, Christian order of worship featuring things like the reading of scripture, confession of our need for grace, and The Lord's Prayer.
Message: Biblical, Relatable, Practical
The message, or sermons, are roughly 25 minutes in length. Based on Biblical truths and always pointing to Jesus, Pastor Matt's messages are known for making spiritual truths simple and understandable. Each message will have direct applicaiton to everyday life, and leave you feeling loved by God and equipped to face tomorrow.
Duration: 65 Minutes
Services at St. Mark Houston run just over 1 hour in length.
WHAT DO YOU HAVE FOR MY KIDS?
Childcare: Infants - Twos
Professionally staffed childcare is available all morning long.
St. Mark Kids: Preschool - 5th Grade
SMK is a time of songs, story, and games designed to help your child make friends and grow in faith. St. Mark Kids is offered at our 9 & 10:30AM services for the full hour.
Upon Arrival: Check-In
When you arrive, be sure to head to a St. Mark Kids kiosk to check your child into our secure system. There, you can also have your questions about SMK answered by one of our volunteers.
Middle School & High School Ministries
6-12th Grade students are invited to join in regular fellowship, service and discipleship opportunities. Come hang with friends, worship together, play games and hear from God's Word.
WHAT ELSE CAN I EXPERIENCE?
Learn: Grow Your Faith
Adult Bible class, led by a Pastor, happens at 10:30AM in the Cafeteria from August - May. Special seminars are held once per month over the Summer.
Connect: Coffee, Snacks, and Conversation
Hospitality (coffee, snacks, and more) is offered all morning in the commons. When you arrive we encourage you to enjoy all we have available and to connect with the people around you. We value making friends, so strike up a conversation or ask a question of someone nearby.
