The Cougar Lifestyle

St. Mark families shop, eat and throw items in the trash each and every day. Focus those efforts on generating valuable dollars to support our student activities. The Cougar Lifestyle is a simple and easy way to support St. Mark.

Box Tops For Education
Simply clip Box Tops logos from hundreds of General Mills products and send them to our school or put them in the container outside the school office. Participating products include Big G cereals, all Betty Crocker products, including Betty Crocker fruit snacks, Yoplait yogurt multi-packs including Go-Gurt and Expresse, Scott Products, Lloyds barbeque buckets and many others. This is an easy way for students, parents, grandparents and the whole community to get involved with our school.

We will have two class contests this school year giving each class more opportunities to collect, win & earn some special allowances and/or treats! Get your scissors out and get to clipping those Box Tops. Simply put them in a ziploc bag & turn them in to your teacher!

2012 Fall Contest: September, 4 - November 30

2013 Spring Contest: January 7 - March 29

Kroger Card

Kroger offers a fast and easy-to-use gift card program that offers St. Mark 5% back on purchases!

Kroger tracks all St. Mark gift cards and sends the school 5% of the money spent.

1. Stop by the school office and purchase your re-loadable Kroger gift card today for $1.

2. Before you begin the check out process, add money to your gift card.

3. Pay for your purchases with the gift card.

This takes an extra minute at checkout but what an easy way to raise funds for our school and it doesn't cost you anything extra!

Keep your card and continue to reload it at the register each time you shop. Encourage your friends and family to support our school through the use of the St. Mark Kroger Card.

Campbell Labels for Education

Keep the labels on your Campbell's Soup products and turn them into the school payments box, the school office, or the box on the Welcome Center desk. Keep the UPC portion of the label! Also turn in any bonus certificates or coupons you receive in the mail, newspaper, grocery store, etc. even if you don’t have the minimum labels necessary for the bonus.  The coordinator will have plenty of labels to meet the requirements of the bonus.

The school is able to redeem the labels for merchandise such as classroom and library supplies, science and art supplies, etc. Feel free to browse labelsforeducation.com.

Paper Recycling

Bundle up your old newspapers, magazines, office papers, other papers, and cardboard and place them in the recycling bins in the south parking lot. It doesn't cost anything to do this, but raises about $1,000 for the school each year. Atibiti Corporation pays St. Mark Lutheran School a number of cents per pound of recyclable paper and cardboard deposited in the bins. Cash for your trash! And you are saving thousands of yards in landfill space.
