Library
Students from preschool through 8th grade enjoy library time each week. Beginning in Pre-K, students are encouraged to check out books allowing our littlest learners to learn responsibility and develop consistent reading habits. With more than 15,000 volumes and several computer stations our library is designed for students to read, perform research and complete Accelerated Reader Tests.
Our Accelerated Reader Program (ARP) is available to all children who read. Every book in our library is part of the ARP. Students are encouraged to read books then take an online comprehension test. Based on the test results students earn points that are then used to purchase small goodies. Twice a year students can shop in the AR store and purchase goodies as a reward for their hard work.

Library Volunteer
Library Volunteers assist the school library staff in a variety of areas such as shelving books, checking books in and out, helping with various reading programs, and reading to children. Volunteers are scheduled on school days between 8 am and 3:15 pm during the school year. Time commitment can be as little as 30 minutes to a full day.
