About Us
For more than 60 years, St. Mark Lutheran School has integrated Christian principles and values with a demanding academic curriculum to build a tradition of excellence. Our high academic standards, competitive athletics, computer-assisted learning, and diverse fine arts programs prepare students to realize their God-given abilities.
A professional staff of trained Christian educators, low student/teacher ratio and parental involvement make it possible to realize our school’s mission which is to “assist parents in their God-given responsibility to educate their children-spiritually, mentally, socially, emotionally, and physically as each child discovers his/her own life purpose in response to God's call to seek, strengthen, and send fully-devoted disciples for Christ.”
Our nurturing, safe environment and family atmosphere encourage students to apply Christian principles to their lives. Extra-curricular activities support the development of a well-rounded student. We offer activities such as orchestra, dance, scouting programs, Spanish, PSIA, the most popular sports and more.
St. Mark offers a state and nationally accredited program for students 6 months through eighth grade. Extended Care and Summer Programs are also available. St. Mark is accredited by the National Lutheran School Accreditation Commission, which is recognized by the Texas Education Association and is a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
