SM² = Saint Mark Student Ministry

High School S² (Sunday School) @ 9:45 a.m.
High School students will grow in faith, their personal relationship with Christ and who they are as God’s people (Ephesians 3:16-19) in a place where they can use their gifts to the glory of God (1 Peter 4:10, Romans 12:4-8), where they know they are accepted (Romans 15:5-7), can ask hard questions, and find answers about faith and life (2 Timothy 3:14-17, Matthew 7:7) in order to serve in meaningful ways in the church and in the world (2 Corinthians 9:12)! Come early to hang out, shoot pool, and share stories before the lesson. All student members and friends from 9th-12th grade are welcome!

SM² YOUTH NIGHTS
YOUTH NIGHTS happen every 2nd & 4th Sundays from 6:30-8:30pm. The first Sunday is a STUDY Night & the 2nd is a SPORTS Night. All 9th-12th graders & friends are invited to come! We meet in the SM² Building behind the church For the STUDY Nights, we'll have a Biblical Lesson that fuses the things we face each day with God's Word & for SPORTS Nights we'll mix it up & have a differnet sports theme each month!

SM² SCRIPTURE SUPPER

"Taste & See that the LORD is GOOD!" -Psalm 34:8

It's not a Bible Study, but a time to just read God's Word: chapter by chapter, verse by verse. One Wednesday per month, we'll gather to cook, eat, & simply read together. We'll start with the smaller books of the Bible first then work our way up!

WEEKofHOPE | June 20-25, 2010

Group Workcamps WEEKofHOPE are community service projects that happen all around the Untied States! We're staying stateside to serve our fellow Texans in the capital city of Austin on June 20-25. God uses the experience of serving others to change lives in both us and the people we serve!

NATIONAL YOUTH GATHERING NEWS

Next NYG Meetings are: Sunday, April 18th @ Noon & Sunday, May 23rd @ Noon (There will be drinks & Cafe du Monde Beignets)

This Spring we should hear back on exactly which hotels they have chosen for us & we will decide on whether vans or a bus is the best way to travel to New Orleans. At the next meeting we will break down the costs & fundraising to date. To the left is a rough estimate of what we've made to date. There are still a few deposits that have yet to come in as well as some fundraisers coming up like RACEaTHON (April 10th).

The National Youth Gathering happens every three years & Saint Mark is sending a group of 31 to this one hosted in New Orleans, Lousiana.
